CAFOD Walk for Water – Lent 2021
This Lent we are walking for water in solidarity with people like Abdella, a 23 year old man who spends 10 hours a day just walking for water for him and his family. Abdella lives in a place called Afar, in Ethiopia, which is the hottest place on Earth. Carrying two jerry cans which he fills from a tiny puddle, Abdella fears he is wasting his life walking for water every day and dreams of starting a family one day and living his life to the full.

There is hope though. With your support this Lent, CAFOD will be able to help Abdella and more people like him have access to clean, safe water, without taking on a dangerous hike.
