St Vincent’s are hosting this important follow-up on Friday 7 February from 6:30 – 7:30pm from the recent lecture on Modern Day Slavery given by Kevin Hyland at LACE on Sunday 19 January.

Estelle Blake is our speaker and she will be talking to us in her role as the National Chaplain for Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery for the Salvation Army.

She has been ordained for 27 years and been working with victims and survivors of Modern Slavery since 2002 formally both in the UK and Italy.  She has represented the Salvation Army at conferences in America, Italy, Spain, Greece and the UK.  She is now based in Manchester but has helped establish a new National Network for projects and churches in Italy.

Estelle really believes in local faith communities being empowered to make a difference both locally and globally.

Do come along to see what you can do in your local area to help stop this horrifying crime.
