Prepare the Future: Taking the Common Good Seriously

The Liverpool Archdiocese Justice and Peace Commission Justice is delighted to invite you to take up Pope Francis’ challenge to “Prepare the Future.”

The focus of our Annual Assembly in July 2020 during the lockdown was our response to the COVID pandemic based on Revelation 21: 5 “See, I am Making All things New” and the series of talks and discussions were given by Cardinal Michael Fitzgerald (MAfr), Fr Diarmuid O’Murchu (MSC and Christine Allen, Director of CAFOD with Diarmuid and Christine being joined by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester for the panel discussion.

We are delighted that Christine Allen can once again join us via Zoom on Saturday 10 October for a live presentation, following on from the Assembly, on Taking the Common Good Seriously where there will be an opportunity for small group discussion leading to local action.

To register please visit the Liverpool Archdiocese Justice and Peace Website at jp.liverpoolcatholic.org.uk. Numbers are limited so do register promptly.

All the talks and discussions from the Assembly including a highlight clip, are available on the Liverpool J&P YouTube channel (link on the website under Annual Assemblies).
