St Wilfrid, Garston
Welcome to the Parish of St Wilfrid’s, Garston
We are a friendly, welcoming community comprised of four communities (St Austin’s, Holy Trinity, St Bernadette’s and St Francis) who have joined together as the Parish of St Wilfrid to worship at the church of St Francis of Assisi, Earp Street.
Our parish community is welcoming and active – we have a committed body of altar servers, two Catholic primary schools who enhance our parish with their involvement, an active SVP, the Legion of Mary, music ministry, bible study group, ecumencial links, family groups and socials. We are also very privileged to have the Carmel Community in Allerton – a real powerhouse of prayer within our parish.
Our year is punctuated by feasts and processions which enable the community to join together regularly and enter into the rhythm of the liturgical season in a prayerful and meaningful way.
Our Parish office is open to help with any general enquiries or to arrange for sacramental preparation. Do take time to look at the website for general information and forms.
You are assured of a warm welcome whatever your situation, as we journey connected by God’s love together on our way to the Synod and beyond.
