St Wilfrid’s International Day
Saturday 14 September saw the parish celebration of our unity in diversity. Families representing many nationalities were present as we celebrated mass together and gave thanks for the gifts and talents we share as a united community of Christ.
The shared table afterwards showcased many different dishes ranging from chicken biriyani from Kerala to the ubiquitous Welsh Cakes of our neighbours! Our cake cutting was performed admirably (see below).
Our international roots, that now touch all of our parishes, are a great opportunity for us to listen and learn from each other as we reach out in welcome to all.
