The Heartbeat of our Community

28th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Having had some time off sick (I am certainly  not a patient patient!) I am very mindful of the resilience that our sick and housebound show in managing their changed situations – with courage, hope and strength. Their prayers and witness, the heartbeat of our communities, inspire us and we, in turn, thank them for what they are to our parishes, as we continue to hold them in our prayers.

Although we will be busy focusing on the Synod themes in the months ahead do check the events below especially those for Readers on Nov 2 and 17 at St Clare’s.  As Readers, you are vital in sustaining our faith through the proclamation of God’s Word and this opportunity to enrich or learn about this ministry can enhance our parish liturgy immensely – do consider attending for the sake of your parish!

In honour of the newly canonised Saint John Henry Newman: “To live is to change, and to be perfect is to have changed often” God Bless, Helen.
