Unity in the Eucharist
23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Our Liverpool South Pastoral Area Ministry Team Website is now live at liverpoolsouthpastoralarea.org.uk It is a work in progress still, so do bear with us as we all get used to having a central point of contact and update our events. We look forward to your visits! Our Readers’ Formation venues are confirmed at St Clare’s Parish Hall on Sat 2 Nov for newer readers and Sun 17 Nov for more experienced readers – see the website for details and booking. There are still places for our Eucharistic Minister reflection days – let me know if you’d like to attend.
I’m looking forward to St Wilfrid’s International Mass on Sat 14 Sept at 1pm (all welcome!) where we experience our unity in celebrating the Eucharist together and enjoy our diversity in our table fellowship following. It is a pertinent reminder that whatever may occur at national or international level, we relate to each other first and foremost as individuals, all equally loved in the eyes of God. As Pope Francis says “Love makes us similar, it creates equality, it breaks down walls and eliminates distances. God did this with us.” God Bless, Helen.
