“Who” we are

2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Nurturing relationships has been very much the connecting thread of my week whether it be first communion parents and children, the Justice and Peace Commission, clergy, Synod members, parishioners, administrators, teachers or my own family and friends.  Although we may wear different hats, the “who we are”  deep inside remains constant and I need reminding that ‘busyness’ should not detract from the most important relationship – the “who we are” with and through God.    “What we are is God’s gift to us. What we become is our gift to God.”  quote by Eleanor Powell. God Bless, Helen.  I will be at the Human Trafficking Lecture on Sunday at LACE (2-4) – hope to see some of you there.
